"Passata di Pomodoro" is the ultimate tomato sauce base made from fresh, pulped San Marzano/Roma tomatoes - the traditional Italian choice for superior sauce. While it can stand alone, this selection is intended to be a base for other sauces. Simmer over low heat and add in sliced zucchini, cooked sausage or browned ground beef, and your favorite spices to create your own signature sauce. Just add 5 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and 1/2 cup of warm water to sauce, heat and serve. Makes 4 servings. 10.2 oz. (290g) glass jar. Imported.

Moving cans in my pantry, this fell out and went all over my floor. I thought it was the chow chow later when I ordered again so instead of reordering it I ordered the chow chow,sorry I was wrong,Doug:) I was going to fix spaghetti with it as it is one of Bill's favorite foods. Must remember to the next order.
