- 4 Celery stalks
- 2 Carrots
- 2 Slices fresh ginger root
- 2 teaspoons Fine sea salt *
- 5 cups Ice water
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Sesame oil
- Shred celery stalks.
- Peel and shred carrots.
- Shred ginger root.
- Dissolve salt in ice water and add vegetables.
- Let stand 1 hour, then drain.
- Transfer vegetables to a serving bowl.
- Add soy sauce and toss.
- Sprinkle with sesame oil and serve at once.
