Soups can be a great way to warm up on those cold winter nights, or they can be served cold to cool you on hot, hazy summer days. They are versatile in that they can be served as an appetizer, to augment a salad, or sandwich, or can be the main course. Soups can be made form just about any ingredient from meats to vegetables to fruits to rains to dairy products. I’ve even seen a recipe for Garlic Soup, with garlic being the main ingredient!
