Anchovies are cleaned and packed in salt barrels for 6 months. Roland Anchovies are then filleted, trimmed and packed in olive oil. The product is not cooked, it is semi-conserved and will continue to cure in the jar.
Anchovies are cleaned and packed in salt barrels for 6 months. Roland Anchovies are then filleted, trimmed and packed in olive oil. As a semi-conserved product the anchovies need to be stored at a consistent temperature between 50 to 60 degrees. It is best to use this product within 60 to 90 days.
Preparation:
Roland Anchovies can be used in a variety of recipies as an ingredient or added to a prepared dish before serving. Easily sauteed with meat or ve- getables, on a salad or added to a dressing, these anchovies are highly ver-satile.
