Our Artisans
Featured Artisan: Colonna Estate
The Colonna groves are planted with a wide variety of olives. The first planting of 10,000 traditional olive trees took place in 1968. This was extended in 1991 to include an innovative, high-density olive plantation of 15,000 trees featuring different 24 varieties.

About Our Artisans
Most companies think big. But at Avanti Savoia, we pride ourselves on thinking small, as in small, family-owned farmers, producers, and purveyors. That's because crafting the world's finest extra virgin olive oils, balsamic vinegars, sea salts, pastas, teas, spices, honey, chocolates, and other culinary masterpieces takes patience, skill, and a deep appreciation for land, culture, and, above all, taste.
We travel throughout Italy and around the globe seeking out the "Best of the Best." Our journeys bring us to remote villages, historic estates, and rustic, working farms. By meeting the artisans in person, we are able to learn firsthand about their ingredients and processes, and their passion for the products they create. From this exclusive group of artisans, we choose only the finest selections to offer to you.
Take a moment to meet some of the Avanti Savoia artisans whose small treasures are featured on our site. Then check out their products in our catalog, and sample a few selections for yourself.
We think you'll agree that big taste can come from some pretty small packages.
