Tiny Capers packed in salt. Because of the small size, 7 to 8mm, and grey/green color these tiny capers have good eye appeal.
Comments:
They are green/gray in color. The caper is the flower bud of a low growing vine. Capers are used widely by Mediterranean chefs. Capers are now also being used in "American" dishes: meat loaf and tuna salad. Tiny capers are larger than the nonpareilles.
Preparation:
Capers are used right out of the jar, for both hot and cold dishes.
