Grissini, a Piedmont essential try it wrapped in prosciutto with a glass of red wine, great with pickled vegetables, cheese.
This is the denser, harder version of Grissini. It is very popular in Italy's Piedmont region with everyday fare. Traditionally, the Rubata is enjoyed crumbled into soup, dipped into extra virgin olive oil and other thin sauces and even dry red wine. Often prosciutto is wrapped around the bread sticks or they are served along with platters of preserved vegetables. Traditional Piedmont breadstick made with extra virgin olive oil. 200g.
