  • 1 Head Chinese lettuce
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive oil *

    Avanti Savoia all purpose/cooking oil suggested

  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • Few drops of sesame oil


  1. Separate the lettuce and cut in 2-inch sections.
  2. Heat the olive oil, and lettuce and stir-fry to soften slightly (about 2 to 3 minutes). 
  3. Transfer to a bowl.
  4. Mince garlic and combine with soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  5. Add to lettuce and toss.
  6. Serve warm or chilled.
