Cookie recipe made really special with cinnamon infused maple syrup.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon *
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground ginger *
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground cloves *
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fine sea salt *
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 cup Cinnamon-infused maple syrup *

Instructions

  1. Sift together dry ingredients; set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in egg and maple syrup.
  4. Gradually blend in dry ingredients.
  5. Drop by heaping measuring teaspoonful onto un-greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until cookies are lightly browned around the edges.
  7. Remove to wire rack; cool.
