Tuna Mousse

Creative party dish made with fresh tuna.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Tuna steaks
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup
  • 12 ounces Fat free cream cheese
  • 1 Minced onion
  • 1 Tablespoon Margarine
  • 4 Tablespoons Fat free mayonnaise
  • 1 envelope Unflavored gelatin

Instructions

  1. Poach tuna in a small amount of water for 5 to 10 minutes until flaky.
  2. Cool.
  3. Saute onion in margarine.
  4. Mix with tuna, cream cheese, and mayonnaise.
  5. Heat cream soup and gelatin in a saucepan stirring constantly until gelatin dissolves.
  6. Add to tuna mixture.
  7. Pour mixture into a lightly oiled bowl.
  8. Chill until firm.
  9. Unmold onto a serving tray.
  10. Serve with crackers.
