Messy to eat, but really, really worth it! Adjust pepper level to your liking.
Ingredients

- 1/2 pound Butter (2 sticks)
- 2 pounds Fresh Shrimp in the Shell
- 1/2 cup Dry White Wine or Beer
- 1 teaspoon Garlic, minced and mashed
- 1/2 teaspoon Basil
- 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper *
- 1 Tablespoon Paprika
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
- Juice of 1 Lemon
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large cast iron skillet until it foams. Add shrimp and cook over a medium high heat for 3 or 4 minutes, stirring often.
- Add wine, stir around to mix and then add all remaining ingredients. Cook for another 8 to 10 minutes or until shrimp are done but not overcooked
- Serve Barbeque Shrimp in a large communal bowl or individual bowls with sauce laddled over. Peel and eat New Orleans style with your hands.
