A bread machine makes an easy to slice loaf perfect for this sandwich.

Ingredients

Items indicated with an astrisk (*) available for purchase in the Avanti Savoia store.

  • 1 Cup Warm water
  • 2 Tabelspoons Molasses
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Cups Unbleached white (Bread Machine) flour
  • 1 Cup Rye flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Dry milk
  • 2 Teaspoons Salt *
  • 2 Tablespoons Caraway seeds
  • 1 package Active dry yeast

Instructions

  1. Place ingredients in bread machine in order listed.
  2. Turn on Bread Machine to whole wheat mode and allow to process and bake. Cool thoroughly before slicing
