I was a bit disappointed in this coffee. I was expecting a robust full flavor. It was on the mild side. It did have a distinct aroma that was very inviting. All-in-all, an excellent cup of coffee that could have been stronger in flavor.

Enjoyed the strong, bold, spicy taste of this coffee and it's all it claims in the description; except I didn't pick up much chocolate taste but earthiness, yes. The only reason for 4 stars was because I only got 4 cups out of what was stated to be a 10 cup quantity. This may be my personal taste for strong coffee. I got ground and would buy whole bean in the future to suit my tastes.

Really thought this coffee delivered. It was bold but not to bold. Very smooth with a great after taste that left us wanting more. Will be a favorite for us.

I love a rich, bold coffee, so was excited to try Dark Horse. I'm afraid I was disappointed and found the taste to be very ordinary and without a noticeable taste or flavor.
