I don't see it referenced in the ingredients summary, but the jar that arrived had an essence of rosemary added. I add fresh rosemary to a lot of things, so I didn't see the problem at first, but the sweet Moroccan dishes that I tried to use these for didn't mesh well with that rosemary flavor...

I like it so much better than the teeny, tiny stuff you can get in any grocery store. More versatile to cool with and satisfying as a vegetarian meal. Making fried, herbed couscous cakes tonight! (Serve with lemon or lime wedges.)
